Verified Purchase. Great little frother. I had considered many handheld wands and plug in frothers, but decided to go old school with this manual frother.

Its easier than it sounds, and you get light, airy, and frothy milk. I am only giving it a 4 because the actual frother thing is plastic everything else is stainless and I sometimes worry that its going to break or wear out.

Also, once I received it and looked at the design, I was a little upset over the price I paid for it - it seems that a cheap french coffee press from Homegoods can froth milk as well as this thing can - but you lose the convenience of heating your milk in the same container.

That's why I chose this milk frother. The built quality is fantastic. It produces very fine, smooth and thick foam every time. I owned 3 other brand of milk frother Hario glass type, Creamafacile by Biesse and handheld battery operated type , this is the best milk frother I have ever used.

Absolutely highly recommended! I am amazed at how well this froths milk and even almond milk. I was skeptical this would make true frothed milk for cappuccino but it does just as well of a job as a professional cappuccino maker.

However with my Bialetti musa 4-cup stovetop espresso maker I can get the element heating then slide it aside and put the frother on one half of the burner so that they both heat at the same time.

I have used the ceramic version as well as the stainless steel one. I bought the stainless steel one because I wanted to heat the milk on the stove top since I don't use microwaves.

For that purpose it's great. Otherwise, I think the ceramic one works just as well, and maybe even a drop better. Meaning the way it froths the milk.
